Band Wagon with J.STONE

So for first Band Wagon series post, I talked to J.Stone (YouTube channel) and of course asked him some questions. I hope you’ll like the meeting as much as I did.

Q: For starters, tell me a bit about yourself.

Well, I’m 26 years old, born and raised in a really small town amongst the mountains & fjords of Norway! Started out as a drummer when I was a kid, got tired of that, so I started playing guitar 7-8 years ago, played in a couple of bands and got tired of that too so I decided to try this YouTube thing instead, and haven’t looked back since.

Q: What exactly do you do on your channel? Do you have any co-workers?

I do music! Originals and covers no co-workers, but I collaborate with singers, because I can’t sing at all.

Q: Do you have an agenda with your YouTube channel? Or is it just there to cast away the boredom?

I love music more than anything. Everyone’s goal is to live their dreams, and it’s the same for me.

Q: What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?

I haven’t achieved anything spectacular yet, I try to have small goals to keep myself motivated, but when I reached 1k subscribers on my channel it felt pretty good! And when I see all these nice comments and feedback I know I’ve done something right.

Q: If you could say anything to the people that subscribed to your channel and to your fans (because I don’t doubt you have many), what would you say?

I would say thank you! I wasn’t expecting anything when i posted my music, so this is almost overwhelming, it’s really awesome! So I can’t say anything else than thank you to all of them, I’m forever grateful.

Q: Is there anyone who inspires you and why?

My son Jonas is my greatest inspiration! I know if I can make it in this business, I can earn enough to give him everything he deserves.
