Just like that we reached the end of first season of Band Wagon series. Therefore I am now launching the Poet Wagon, make sure to check it out!
Anyway for today’s last interview I chatted with Chris.
Q: How long are you making music and what kind of music you usually make?
I’ve been making music ever since I was a young kid . My father always had guitars around so I picked it up at a young age, luckily. I started taking it seriously about three years ago and its been about two years that I’ve been writing songs for “Fullmoonwolves”, which is essentially just me ha. I write all my songs acoustically whether it be guitar, ukulele or piano. I don’t really like to think I have a genre its up to the listeners to say, but I guess its Alternative.
Q: What inspired you to start making music?
Probably my father, he’s always been an inspiration to me even to this day. He’s been in bands all his life and is a wicked guitar player 🙂
Q: What kind of feedback do you usually get?
So far I’ve got a lot of good feedback and it definitely keeps me going, just a lot of good vibes.
Q: What would you say that makes you, you?
I’m just a down to earth dude, so I like to think haha. I’m just passionate about making music and I really enjoy performing, it’s cathartic for me.
Q: What is the best thing that happened to you in 2015?
There’s so many haha, but some of the best things would be releasing my single “Oh No” and a music video with it. Also being in the studio for the first time and learning the process of recording, it was so cool! Also having my music reach out to more people has been amazing 🙂
Q: What do you think is your best song and why?
So far, I have some songs that I really like on my upcoming album “Lovers & Sinners” which should be out early February, so I can’t say the titles yet, ha. But I think everyone who knows me would say my latest single “Oh No”, which I agree on is the best I’ve come out with yet 🙂
Q: Where do the ideas for the lyrics come from?
Everything I write about is from personal experience and my take on it. I don’t write with the intention to relate with everyone. But if it does with even just a few, that’s awesome. So yeah, basically things I’ve been through with a few metaphors to explain the simpler of things 🙂
Q: Is there anything you wish to add? Maybe a message for your fans?
Hell yeah! I’d just like to thank everyone who has been listening and keeping up with me on social media, and to anyone new, hopefully ya can check it out and enjoy the tunes !:)
